# Viaondo vs ChatGPT

ChatGPT can draft an itinerary from a few lines, and it does it well. Viaondo uses the same kind of model to read your confirmations, and then does the part a chat doesn’t: it keeps every fact tied to its source, checks places and times, and delivers the result as an app your client opens from a link and carries offline. If you only need a draft to paste into a document, a chat is enough. If a client is going to travel with it, the difference is the whole trip.

## How do Viaondo and ChatGPT compare, point by point?

| | Viaondo | ChatGPT |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Price | US$50/month per agency, plus VAT where it applies, team included | Free plan; paid plans from about US$20 a month per person |
| What your client receives | An app with your brand, by private link, that works offline | A text you paste into a document or a chat |
| Reading your confirmations | PDFs, emails and screenshots become bookings, each linked to its document | It can read a file you upload; the result is text, with nothing pointing back to the voucher |
| Facts and their sources | Every booking shows where it came from; places are checked on their own web page, with the quote | Nothing in the answer points back to a document; you check each fact yourself |
| Times and time zones | Each time in its place’s zone; a time in a clock change is refused | Plain text: nobody checks the zone or a daylight-saving change |
| Documents for the traveler | Tickets and vouchers saved on the phone, verified, per traveler | No: the files stay in your chat |
| Changes after sending | You publish a new version and the app shows what changed | A new message; your client keeps several versions |
| Knowing if they opened it | Opens, offline saves and documents viewed, per trip | No |
| Your brand and contact | Logo, theme, WhatsApp and phone inside the app | None |
| Data hosted in the EU | Yes (database and files) | Not stated on its data controls page; conversations can be used to train OpenAI’s models unless you turn off “Improve the model for everyone” (Business and Enterprise workspaces aren’t by default) |
| Languages | The app in ten languages; the trip written in your client’s | Any language, as text |

## What does ChatGPT do well?

A chat is a fine place to start a trip:

- **It drafts in a minute.** Ten days in Japan for a couple, in order, with sensible days.
- **It answers anything.** Opening hours, a dish to try, how to get from one place to the next.
- **It costs little or nothing.** The free plan drafts; the paid ones draft faster.
- **It speaks every language.** The draft comes out in the language you ask for.

Viaondo doesn’t replace that. It starts where the draft ends.

## Where does a chat stop?

### The result is a text, not something a traveler can use

What comes out of a chat is words. You still paste them into a document, add the confirmations by hand, and send a file your client reads once and loses in the thread. Viaondo’s result is an app: the next step on top, the address ready for the driver, the tickets on the phone, offline.

### Nothing points back to the voucher

A chat can read a PDF you upload, but its answer keeps no link to it. A flight time it misread looks exactly like one it read right. In Viaondo every booking shows the document it came from, every place the web page it was checked on, with the quote. A fact without a source is marked as something to confirm, never kept quietly.

### Times are just numbers

An arrival at 06:50 the next day, a transfer across a time-zone line, a train on the night the clocks change: a chat writes them as it was told. Viaondo keeps each time in its place’s zone and refuses a time that doesn’t exist, so the app counts down to the right moment.

### Changes don’t travel

When the hotel moves the pickup to 09:30, a chat gives you a new paragraph. Your client still has the old one. In Viaondo you change the time where it is printed, publish, and the app shows what changed, old time struck through.

### It isn’t yours

The chat has no logo, no WhatsApp button to your agency, no review link, and it can’t tell you whether the client opened anything. And unless you turn off “Improve the model for everyone” in its data controls, what you paste can be used to train OpenAI’s models; OpenAI says Business and Enterprise workspaces aren’t used for training by default.

## When is a chat enough?

A draft to think with, a list of ideas for a client who hasn’t decided, a sentence to translate. For all that, use the chat. Viaondo is for the moment a trip is sold: when the confirmations exist and a real person is going to travel with them.

## How do you get started?

1. Create your account and start the 14-day [free trial](https://viaondo.com/signup?lang=en): nothing is charged until day 15.
2. Describe the trip in your words, or drop the confirmations you have. Viaondo reads them, checks every place and time, and makes the draft.
3. Read the trip on its page, change what you want in place, and publish. Your client opens the link and the trip is on their phone.

The price is US$50/month per agency, plus VAT where it applies, or US$500/year. You’ll find the details on [pricing](https://viaondo.com/pricing).

## Frequently asked questions

### Does Viaondo use AI too?

Yes. A model reads your PDFs, emails and screenshots and writes the days you describe. The difference is what happens around it: each booking keeps its document, places are checked on their own web page with a verbatim quote, times carry their zone, and nothing reaches your client until you publish.

### Can I paste what ChatGPT wrote into Viaondo?

Yes. Describe the trip in the composer, or paste the text: Viaondo turns it into days in steps, with their places, and lets you add the confirmations as documents.

### What does my client see that a chat can’t give them?

An app with your brand: what’s next on top, each time in local time, the address ready to show a driver, tickets and vouchers saved on the phone, and the changes you publish, all offline after the first opening.

### How much does it cost?

US$50/month per agency, plus VAT where it applies, or US$500/year with two months free, with unlimited trips and travelers and your team included (fair use). There’s no setup fee, and the first 14 days are free.
