Who looks for a MOGU alternative
MOGU brings selling and delivery together in one platform, which is an advantage if you use both parts. These are some reasons to look at other options:
- You don’t use the sales side. If you close trips by email, by phone or in your booking system, proposals and a payment gateway don’t add much for you.
- You want offline access on every trip. On MOGU, according to its help center, offline access comes with the Pocket Trip native app, which requires Premium (€149/month + VAT) or Enterprise.
- Your team has more than three people. Premium includes three licenses and each extra license costs €29/month. Viaondo costs the same for one person as for a small team (fair use), with no limit on trips or travelers.
- You prefer a more focused tool. Viaondo does fewer things: the trip, its documents and your client’s app. For some agencies, that’s exactly what they’re after.
What to compare before you switch
- What you use in MOGU every week. If proposals or payments are part of your daily work, you’ll need another tool for them or keep MOGU for that part.
- How your client opens the trip. On MOGU, with a direct link, a QR code or an invitation code with their account. On Viaondo, with the group link or a personal link: opening it is all it takes.
- Offline access. Set up a test trip in both tools, switch your phone to airplane mode and compare what you see. In Viaondo, everything but the street map.
- Your clients’ languages. Viaondo works in ten languages. The Pocket Trip App Store listing shows Spanish and ten more.
- The price for your actual team and plan. Compare what you pay today with €49/month + VAT per agency. Details on pricing.
- Loading bookings. Try booking import with the confirmations of a trip you know well. You’ll see each proposed item next to the excerpt of the document it comes from.
Where MOGU is still better
MOGU does things Viaondo doesn’t. It has a proposal builder and a payment gateway on every plan, and a free plan with no card to get started. From Premium it offers the Pocket Trip app for iOS and Android, with notifications, plus visual customization (colors, typography, design, cover and WhatsApp) and a custom domain. On Enterprise you can have an app with your own brand in the stores, for €3,000 one-time in the first year and €1,500/year for maintenance.
Its app is available in more languages than Viaondo’s, and the itinerary can also be shared as a PDF. On data, MOGU says it uses European servers; in Viaondo, the database and files are stored in the EU. You’ll find the full comparison in Viaondo vs MOGU.
How to switch, step by step
- Create your account with the 14-day free trial, no card needed.
- Set up your brand: logo, color, contact details, WhatsApp button and review link.
- Pick an upcoming trip and upload its confirmations (PDFs, screenshots or emails). Review each item Viaondo proposes before applying it.
- Fill in the destination guide, places and checklist, and run the Trip Check.
- Publish and send the link by WhatsApp, email or QR code. If you keep selling with MOGU, you can use it for proposals and Viaondo for delivery.
Afterwards, check the trip’s activity: you’ll see whether your client opened it, saved it offline and which documents they viewed. With the group link, that data is anonymous; with personal links, it carries each traveler’s name.
