Viaondo vs Travefy

Travefy is a suite for travel advisors that brings together proposals, a CRM, a website builder and invoicing, plus an app for your clients. Viaondo focuses on building the trip and delivering it as an app with your brand, in ten languages, for a flat price per agency. If you want to run your whole business from one tool, Travefy is the better fit; if you already sell your own way and want to improve how the trip reaches your client, Viaondo is.

Where Travefy is better

Travefy is designed to run a travel advisor’s business from one place. According to its pricing page, the Core plan already includes an itinerary and proposal builder, a CRM with forms and automations, a website and landing page builder, invoicing with commission tracking, email integration and AI content import. Viaondo covers none of that outside the trip itself: it has no CRM, no proposals and no payments.

Travefy is also ahead on these points:

  • An app in the stores. Your clients use Trip Plans, an iOS and Android app that sends them flight notifications. Viaondo is a web app and isn’t in the App Store or Google Play.
  • A branded app in the stores. Through its enterprise offering, Travefy provides a version of Trip Plans with your brand, your icon and your own App Store and Google Play listings. Pricing is on request.
  • Tools for agent networks. Its agency plan adds commission and revenue reporting, a shared template library, centralized supplier management, a dedicated account manager and access to the CRM API.
  • Entry price if you work alone. Billed annually, Core costs $39/month, and its program for people who are new to the industry costs $25/month.

If you want one tool to sell, invoice and deliver, Travefy covers more ground than Viaondo.

When to choose Viaondo

Viaondo makes sense when you already sell with your own tools (email, spreadsheets or your booking system) and what you want to improve is how your client receives the trip.

  • You want every trip to carry your brand from day one. You set your logo, color, contact details, WhatsApp button and review link once, and they apply to all your trips, with no enterprise plan. See branding.
  • Your clients speak other languages. The app and the dashboard work in English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), French, Italian, German, Dutch, Polish, Turkish and Swedish. The Trip Plans App Store listing shows English and Spanish.
  • You work as a team. You pay €49/month + VAT per agency, team included (fair use), instead of paying per user. Details on pricing.
  • You care where your data lives. Viaondo’s database and files are stored in the EU.
  • You don’t want to ask clients to install anything. They open a private link and, if they like, add the trip to their home screen.

Differences you’ll notice day to day

How your client opens the trip

According to Travefy, when clients tap the link they’re prompted to view the trip in the Trip Plans app, which opens the App Store or Google Play. With Viaondo, the link opens the traveler app straight in the browser. You can send the group link, with the whole trip, or a personal link for each traveler, with their own documents and seats.

Offline

Both let clients check the trip offline. With Viaondo, after the first opening with a connection, the itinerary, addresses and documents are saved on the phone. The app verifies the saved copy (size and SHA-256 checksum) before saying it’s ready. The street map is the only part that needs a connection.

Last-minute changes

When you publish a new version in Viaondo, the app shows the traveler what changed, before and after, and refreshes the offline copy when they accept it. If you like, travelers also get an email notice in their language. Every published version is kept in the history.

Times and time zones

Viaondo shows every time in the local time zone of its place, with the zone name. While you build the trip, the dashboard rejects times that don’t exist or are ambiguous because of daylight-saving changes, so that mistake never reaches your client.

How to get started with Viaondo if you’re coming from Travefy

Viaondo doesn’t connect to Travefy, so you move over with the documents you already have:

  1. Create your account with the 14-day free trial, no card needed.
  2. Set up your brand: logo, color, contact details, WhatsApp and review link.
  3. Start with your next departures. Upload each trip’s PDFs, screenshots or confirmation emails to booking import. Viaondo proposes flights, hotels, trains, transfers and activities with their local times and the excerpt of the document each item comes from.
  4. Review, edit and accept each item. Nothing is added or published without your review.
  5. Run the Trip Check, publish and share the link by WhatsApp, email or QR code.

Trips already in progress can finish where they are. If you’d like to see what your client will receive first, open the sample app.
