Does Viaondo have chat or flight alerts like Vamoos?

No. In Viaondo, your client messages you on WhatsApp from the button in the app, and when you publish a change they see what changed, before and after, and can get an email notice. If you need in-app messaging and automatic flight alerts, Vamoos offers them.

What about offline maps?

Vamoos lets travelers download maps before the trip. In Viaondo, the street map needs a connection; the itinerary, addresses and documents work offline.

Do your clients have to install anything?

With Viaondo, no: they open the trip from a private link and, if they like, add it to their home screen. Vamoos has an app in the App Store and Google Play, plus a web version for the browser.

Where Vamoos is better

Vamoos covers several things Viaondo doesn’t do:

Messaging with your team. Your clients can message you and your team from the app, and you can send a message to all app users at once. Viaondo has no chat: it offers a WhatsApp button that opens a conversation with your agency.
Flight alerts. According to Vamoos, flight information updates automatically with time changes, gate numbers and baggage reclaim details, and arrives as notifications. In Viaondo, you publish changes yourself and the traveler sees what changed.
An app in the stores and in the browser. Your clients use the Vamoos app, with your logo on the app’s home screen, or its web version. You can also have a version with your own icon in the App Store and Google Play, or a custom app. Vamoos doesn’t publish the price of these options.
Offline maps. Maps can be downloaded before the trip to use without internet. In Viaondo, the street map needs a connection; the itinerary, addresses and documents don’t.
More languages and more volume. The Vamoos App Store listing shows English and ten more languages, and Vamoos offers others on request. Its price tiers go beyond 10,000 passengers a year, and its API integration pushes customer data, itineraries, flights and bookings from your back office into the app without retyping.

If you move a lot of volume and want to talk to your clients inside the app, Vamoos is built for that.

When to choose Viaondo

You’re a small agency. Vamoos starts at €283/month + VAT for up to 500 passengers a year. Viaondo costs €49/month + VAT per agency, with unlimited trips and travelers and your team included (fair use). See pricing for details.
You prefer a link to a download. With Viaondo, your client opens the trip from a private link and, if they like, adds it to their home screen. With Vamoos, according to its website, clients get download instructions and login details when they book.
You want to load bookings from documents. Booking import reads PDFs, screenshots and confirmation emails and proposes each item with its local time; you review it before applying it. Vamoos doesn’t publish an AI import feature; its route is API integration.
Your clients speak Portuguese or Italian. Viaondo works in Spanish, English, Portuguese (Brazil), French, Italian and German. Portuguese and Italian don’t appear in Vamoos’s language lists, although it offers other languages on request.
You want to know where your data lives. Viaondo’s database and files are stored in the EU. Vamoos doesn’t say on the pages we checked.

What you pay for your volume

With Vamoos, the price goes up in tiers of passengers a year: €283/month + VAT up to 500 passengers, €554/month above 500 and €825/month above 1,000. Paying annually gives a 10% discount. In Viaondo, the price doesn’t change with the number of trips or travelers, and there’s no annual plan: you pay month to month and cancel anytime.

Offline

Both apps work offline. In Viaondo, after the first opening with a connection, the trip is saved on the phone and the app verifies the copy (size and SHA-256 checksum) before saying it’s ready. We explain it in detail in offline trips.

Notices and changes

Vamoos sends notifications based on time or location, and messages to all your clients. In Viaondo, when you publish a new version, the traveler sees what changed, before and after, and can get an email notice in their language. To reach you, they have the WhatsApp button.

After the trip

When the trip ends, the Viaondo app asks the traveler for a rating from 1 to 5 and a comment. With a 4 or a 5, it shows your review link. And the “Plan your next trip” button puts them in touch with your agency.
