Travel statistics, checked and sourced
Numbers for people who work in travel: what travelers pay advisors for, how big the agency channel is, and where advisors stand on AI. Every figure names its source, its sample size and the date we checked it.
Most travel statistics online are unsourced. A percentage gets copied from one blog to the next until nobody remembers where it came from, and the copy that survives is often years older than the survey it cites.
This section works the other way around. Each number carries the survey behind it, the sample it was measured on, and the date we fetched it from the primary source. When we cannot verify a figure, we leave it out.
Agencies can quote these in pitches and client emails. Writers and journalists can cite them with the source named on the line. We add topics as we verify them.

Checked dates live on every line, and a line changes only when its source publishes a new edition. If a figure here looks wrong, the source link on its line is the place to check.
