DMCs and receptive agencies

Your travelers read the trip in their language, even without data.

Travelers arriving from abroad often land without mobile data. Viaondo delivers each program as a branded app in the traveler’s own language, and it works offline from the moment they land.

What goes wrong when travelers arrive from abroad

  • Travelers land without a local SIM, so links to online documents and maps fail at the airport.
  • Your documents are in one language and your travelers speak several.
  • Pick-up points, local times and hotel addresses get lost between the agency abroad and the traveler.
  • Last-minute changes reach the partner agency but not the people on the ground.

How Viaondo fits a receptive operation

From the welcome at arrivals to the last transfer, in the language each guest reads.

  • Ten languages for the traveler

The app’s interface works in English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), French, Italian, German, Dutch, Polish, Turkish and Swedish. Each traveler uses the trip’s language or their phone’s.

  • Offline from arrival

Travelers open the trip once with a connection before they fly. From then on the itinerary, addresses and documents are on the phone, and the app checks them before it says they’re ready.

  • Addresses for the taxi driver

Each hotel’s address appears in the country’s own script, ready to show a driver, and every time is in the local time zone.

  • Your brand on the app

Your logo, color and contact details, with a WhatsApp button that reaches your local team.

  • Changes that reach the traveler

Publish a new version and travelers see what changed, before and after, with an optional email in each traveler’s language.

  • EU data hosting

Viaondo’s database and files are stored in the EU, with a data processing agreement for your agency.

A program, delivered before the flight

  1. Build or import the program

Build it in the dashboard, or import the confirmations of the flights, hotels, transfers and activities you booked.

  2. Check the draft

Imported bookings go into the draft with their local times and the document each came from; anything uncertain is listed under To confirm. Nothing reaches travelers until you publish.

  3. Share before departure

The traveler opens the link at home, with a connection, and the app saves the whole trip on the phone.

  4. Ready when they land

When they land, the Today screen already shows the transfer with its meeting point, the hotel’s address in local script and the day’s plans, all without data.

What to know before you use it for your programs

What Viaondo does

  • Delivers each program as a branded app
  • Shows the app’s interface in each traveler’s language
  • Keeps the trip working offline from arrival

What Viaondo doesn’t do

  • Contracting and rates
  • Allotments
  • Supplier payments
  • Invoicing to partner agencies
  • An App Store or Google Play app

Links use the Viaondo domain, with your brand inside the app.

What DMCs use today

Receptive agencies tend to deliver programs from a content platform, an operations platform or a PDF. Where each one fits:

  • Wetu

Common among DMCs for proposal-style itineraries built from supplier content, with the TravelKey app. If your partners already work in Wetu, it’s the better fit; Viaondo delivers the program you’ve confirmed, in the traveler’s language.

  • Safari Portal

An operations platform with proposals, a CRM, invoicing and a traveler app. If you want one system for the whole business, look at it; Viaondo covers only building and delivering the program.

  • PDF and WhatsApp

What many receptive agencies still send. It works, but a PDF doesn’t give the driver the address in the local script, and it won’t flag a pick-up time that moved.

Your travelers read the trip in their language, even without data.

Languages: what’s translated and what isn’t

The traveler app’s own screens (menus, labels, dates and times, change notices) follow each traveler’s language, in ten languages.

The trip itself has one language, which you choose when you create it. Viaondo writes the days and the destination guide in that language, and what you add yourself appears as you wrote it. Many receptive agencies pick English for mixed groups, or the language of their main market.

When a supplier’s program document is in another language, the import offers to translate it into the trip’s language: day titles and descriptions and the bookings’ notes. Names of places, hotels and people stay as they are, and you check the translation before adding it.

Programs, departures and volume

There’s no limit on programs, departures or travelers: Viaondo costs US$50/month per agency, plus VAT where it applies, with your team included (fair use). The limit that matters in a busy season is AI import, with a fair use of 300 documents per agency per month.

For a program you run every week, build it once and duplicate it for each departure: give the copy a new start date and every date shifts with it. Each departure gets its own group link, or a personal link per traveler with their own documents and seats.

Supplier content

Viaondo has no supplier content library. Descriptions, notes and recommendations are what you write or what your documents say. When Viaondo adds a place, it checks it on the place’s own web page and keeps the quote it relied on, and the place’s sheet in the app shows a real photo credited to its author.

Integrations and export: what exists today

  • No API and no connection to reservation or operations systems or a GDS. Bookings come in from documents (PDFs, screenshots, emails) or are typed in the dashboard.
  • Calendar: travelers can add one plan or the whole trip to their phone’s calendar.
  • Print: you can print the itinerary for a partner or a traveler who wants paper, or save it as a PDF from the print view.
  • Sharing with partners: the group link or personal links go out by email, WhatsApp or QR code.

Frequently asked questions

Does Viaondo translate the trip content?
Partly. Viaondo writes the trip (days and guide) in the trip’s language, which you choose when you create it. When an imported program document is in another language, the dashboard offers to translate it into the trip’s language: day titles and descriptions and the bookings’ notes, while names of places, hotels and people stay as they are. You check the translation before adding it. The app’s own screens follow each traveler’s language, in ten languages.
Can the partner agency abroad share the trip with its clients?
Yes. You can send the group link to the partner agency, or personal links to each traveler, by email, WhatsApp or QR code.
Does it show my brand or the partner agency’s?
The app shows your agency’s logo, color and contact details, set up once for all your trips.
Do travelers arriving from outside the EU have to register at the border?
Most do when they enter the Schengen area for a short stay. The EU’s Entry/Exit System has been fully operational since 10 April 2026 and records passport data, fingerprints and a facial image at the border; EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland nationals are not registered, and there are other exemptions. Our guide on what the Entry/Exit System means for your travelers covers what to tell them, and you can add the same note to every program.
How much does it cost?
US$50/month per agency, plus VAT where it applies, or US$500/year with two months free, with unlimited trips and travelers and your team included (fair use). There’s no setup fee and the first 14 days are free.
