Who looks for a Travefy alternative
Travefy is a complete tool for travel advisors, especially if you want to sell, invoice and deliver from the same place. These are some reasons to look at other options:
- You want your brand on the app. Trip Plans, Travefy’s standard app, is unbranded on purpose, and the branded version is an enterprise service quoted on request.
- Your clients speak other languages. The Trip Plans App Store listing shows English and Spanish. If you have clients who speak Portuguese, French, Italian or German, that may fall short.
- You pay per user. On Core, each additional user adds $20/month; on Premium, $39/month. With several people in the agency, a price per agency is easier to predict.
- You prefer data hosted in the EU. Travefy’s pricing page doesn’t say where data is stored.
- You don’t want clients to go through an app store. According to Travefy, its link prompts the client to open the trip in Trip Plans from the App Store or Google Play.
- You already have a CRM and invoicing. If you sell and invoice with other tools, you may not need those features again.
What to compare before you switch
Switching tools takes time, so compare with your real trips:
- What you’d lose. List what you use in Travefy every week. If you rely on its CRM, proposals or invoicing, Viaondo doesn’t replace them.
- How your client opens the trip. With Viaondo, a private link opens the traveler app in the browser, and they can add it to the home screen.
- Branding. In Viaondo you set your logo, color, contact details, WhatsApp button and review link once for all your trips.
- The price for your actual team. Add up what you pay per user today and compare it with €49/month + VAT per agency, team included (fair use). Details on pricing.
- How you load bookings. Try booking import with the confirmations of a trip you know well and see how much you need to correct.
- Offline access. Open the same trip in both tools, switch your phone to airplane mode and compare what you see. In Viaondo, everything but the street map.
Where Travefy is still better
Travefy covers more of the business. It includes a CRM with forms and automations, a proposal builder, websites and landing pages, invoicing with commission tracking and email integration. Its Trip Plans app is in the App Store and Google Play and sends your clients flight notifications. Premium adds phone support, a custom domain and business email hosting. Its agency plan adds commission and revenue reporting, supplier management, a shared template library and a dedicated account manager. And if you work alone and pay annually, Core costs $39/month, or $25/month through its program for people new to the industry.
Viaondo has no CRM, proposals, payments, custom domains or store apps. If those pieces are at the center of your work, Travefy suits you better. You’ll find the detailed comparison in Viaondo vs Travefy.
How to switch, step by step
- Start with the trial. Create your account with the 14-day free trial, no card needed, and set up your brand.
- Pick an upcoming trip. Upload its PDFs, screenshots or confirmation emails. Viaondo proposes each booking with its local time and the excerpt of the document it comes from; you review and accept.
- Show it to your client. Run the Trip Check, publish and send the link by WhatsApp, email or QR code.
- Let both tools run side by side for a while. Trips already in progress can finish in Travefy while you create new ones in Viaondo.
- Invite your team by email once you’re happy with the process.
